Using Munco vacuum bags is really easy, and these simple-to-follow instructions will give you a quick overview on how to use them.  As soon as you’ve vacuum packed your first bag – you’ll be hooked!

The Prep

First, ensure all of your textiles are dry before storage. Fold each item carefully. Place in your Munco bag (don’t fill any further than the “stop” sign).








The Zip

Next, zip the bag closed by sealing along the entire length using the zipper on the bag. You can move the zip fastener backwards and forwards to get a really firm seal.






The Vacuum

Now it’s time for vacuum fun! Open the valve cap and place the vacuum directly onto the valve. Turn the vacuum on to remove the air from the storage bag. Once compression is complete (it takes seconds), remove the vacuum and quickly close the cap. If you hear air leaking out or if the bag starts to reinflate, repeat the steps from the zip stage above.

The Storage

Finished? Great, your bag is safe to store. Store away in a cool, dry place away from sharp objects.

Avoid handling your bag from the zipper end, as this could break the zipper’s seal.

What size are the bags?

The bags come in two different sets a 10 pack of 5 jumbo measuring 100 x 80 cm and 5 large sized bags that measure 80 x 60 cm and a 10 pack of 80x60cm. Our vacuum storage bags are recyclable, reusable and come with a travel pump. 

What textiles can I put in the bag?

Anything you like!  Clothes, bedding, duvets, pillows, cushions, towels, household textiles – really, anything that’s made out of material!

How do I get a refund?

In the unlikely event you need a refund, please contact us through Amazon. 

Can I reuse the bags?

Yes – all of our vacuum storage bags are reusable so they last, and last and last! 

How do I register my warranty?

All orders come with a two-year warranty, if you’re not happy, we’re not happy!  Just click here to register your warranty and provide details of your purchase (warranty must be completed within 14 days of date of purchase). 

Are these food safe?

No, the vacuum storage bags are not designed for food purposes.

What type of Vacuum Cleaner works with the bags?

Munco storage bags are compatible with any standard vacuum cleaner (and also come with a travel pump for complete convenience).

If the hand pump does not work, can I use a vacuum cleaner?

Of course, the hand pump should work and if yours doesn’t, please get in touch here.  However, it’s good to know that you can use any standard sized vacuum cleaner to vacuum your bags closed.
